Funeral services for Mrs. Millie (Simbro) De Joode, who died December 29, at her
home in Colfax, were held January 1, 1969 at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Richard
De Jong officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Millie Marie, daughter of Gladys and Eugene Simbro, was born November 25, 1946 in
Jasper County.
She attended school in Knoxville, where she met and married, Paul
De Joode on January 2, 1964.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Todd Eugene,
John Charles, and Scott Duane, her parents, a brother, Kenneth Simbro, of Pleasantville,
and a sister, Mrs. Gordon (Nancy) Mecham.
