A Memorial Service for Beverly Ann Anderson of Knoxville
will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at Williams Funeral Home
with Rev. Larry Peterson officiating.
Mrs. Anderson passed away Sunday, August 31,
2008 at Pella Hospice Comfort House at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 22 days.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, W.H. (Bill) Anderson, Jr. of Knoxville;
three children and their spouses: son, William Howard (Billy) Anderson III (Diana)
of Pleasantville, daughters, Brenda Jo Ross (Mike) and Nancy Ann Hammann (Todd)
all of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Nicholas Ross of Oskaloosa, Heather Ross (Dave
Whelan) of Bussey, and Kyle and Jenni Hammann of Knoxville; two sisters, Connie
(Dave) Storm of Knoxville, and Luann Nichols of Columbia, Iowa.
Friends may call
at Williams Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, until time of
the Memorial Service; the family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu
of flowers, memorials in memory of Mrs. Anderson may be made to Hospice of Pella.

Beverly Ann Anderson, 71, of Knoxville, passed away Aug. 31, 2008, at the Hospice
Comfort House in Pella. Beverly was born on May 9, 1937, in Knoxville, to Harold
Hartshorn and Virginia Harvey Hartshorn Anderson.
She was a 1955 graduate of Knoxville
High School. Beverly married her high school sweetheart, William Howard Anderson,
Jr. on July 1, 1956, at the First Christian Church in Knoxville.
To this union three
children were " born: William Howard Anderson III in 1960; Brenda Jo in 1962; and
Nancy Ann in 1963. Bev traveled with Bill during his career with the phone company,
living in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania. After many years, they returned
home to Knoxville in 1970.
When their children entered school, Beverly went to work,
working many years at 10X in Pleasantville, Larry's Shurfine Food with her mother
and daughters in Knoxville, Bob Allen's in Des Moines with her son, the Overall
Factory in Pella, and Grandma's Cupboard in Knoxville. The last position she held
was President, Accountant, and CEO of Wild Bill's Hobbies.
