Preserving & Restoring Historic Ken Locke Stadium
The Save Our Stadium (SOS) project under the guidance of the Knoxville Alumni Association
is working with the Knoxville School Board in supervising and
financially supporting
the historical preservation of Ken Locke Stadium. The preservation will be completed
over a four-year period (2007-2010) in accordance with our listing on the National
Historic Registry and the State of Iowa Historical Society. View the SOS video.
Ken Locke Stadium 2010 Update
A huge thank you to Alumni all over the country who have been supportive financially and with words of encouragement for SOS. Even though this project will conclude this year we will continue accepting donations to SOS for projects in the future and to help maintain the work we have accomplished.
